sports cat in standard system?

would i be right in saying it is possible to fit a sports cat to the standard exhaust system??

yes, providing either ...

1) The bore size of the sport cat is the same as the stock exhaust

or

2) if not you use reducers to make the cat's bore the same size

either way, it can be done

Milltek have also dropped the Polo GTI exhaust due to a poor fit.

Glad i didn't buy one. . .

not without reducers, as the stock bore is 1/2 inch smaller than the miltek

the miltek will bolt on to the downpipe ok, as its a downpipe and cat setup, but at the cat end, your going to need the bore reducing to bolt it together

as andy says, the full system is a dire fit, as its the same one for the ibiza's, they never modified it to fit the polos bumper correctly

but with a little bit of work from pipewerx

its perfect, good gains too, i picked up 14 bhp at top end and 20 at midrange with the turbo back resonated system, it also sounds ... GORGEOUS
