Thats stuff butter use it on your toast :) but its high in calories :( so if I was you I would use "I can not believe its castrol GTX"!

Its engine oil gunk coming up through the breather happens all the time to me, but I do alot of short journeys so its due to happen, possibly the previous owner did so expect a good cleaning between 4-6months at least in the airbox... don't block the breather or try to redirect it TRUST me I did that once caused a pressure build up in the engine lost 3L of oil through the dipstick.

ok but if i give it beans say 1st n 2nd ie past 4500 rpm it pours smoke out the back for a shourt pieroid ie 30 secs then dies down and disapiears until u rag it again lol i assumed it was comming up the breather and into the intake ???? i drove thecar back from birmingham 170 miles with no problems would this be enough to clear any gunk i havent changed the oil yet so do you reccomend gtx if so what grade??
ps sorry for my rubbish spelling

Sounds like all thats happening is the gunk is building up in the air box and then going down the throttle, when this happens expect alot of smoke out the back. As for the gunk clean it out every 3-6months as it will always be there.

All the gunk is, is water mixed with engine oil. This will happen due to two reasons:

1) Water vapor in the air and will mix with the oil fumes in the breather causing the gunk

2) When the oil breaks down under heat it produces water as a product and can mix back with itself causing the gunk.

A good engine flush and an oil & filter change would be nice for your engine and newer oil should cause less of a build up. Good oils are:

Castrol Edge
Castrol GTX
Comma (I think I used that last, very a cheap oil it was pretty good)

theres a third reason:

3) Your head gaskets have broke, but you'd notice this if your coolant level was constantly dropping too.
