Exactly as the title says, I have just had a new gearbox, clutch, bearing etc fitted and decided to take her for a run. Had to drive to Southend in fourth, try to put it into fifth and she'll stay there for a few seconds then pop out. When I fitted the gearbox, I did no adjustments whatsoever, just slapped it in. Could it be something I have missed, or should I start getting worried, just spent sh*t loads of money getting this sorted.

Doesn't sound good mate, as I'm sure you already know a popping out 5th bearing is the sign of a box on the way out!

hey just noticed this post... mine does this similarly...
all gears are fine its when i go into fifth... its sorta fine its wen i touch the clutch very slightly it pops out itself all the time, and sometimes if i let go of the acceleration pedal.... i too hae just had a new gearbox and clutch fitted... if uve found the problem please share does get a bit annoying on motorway journeys
