Polo 1.4 Sportline Help!

Im wondering if anyone can help me, i have a 2007 polo 9n3 and i cant figure out how to remove the engine cover. I dont want to force it off as it may break n then i really would be screwed.. Also has anyone with this model fitted a sports air filter or an exhaust and if so where did you get these.

lol

it's connected with nothing but a rubber friction fit ball. you just lift the front edge upwards, and then when they've popped out, pull it towards the front of the car.

|Take care when pulling on the cover as i have already snapped one of the holing down friction fit balls
