You can always import it, but then that comes with hassle and the car will still be LHD. Standard Mk7 GTI + Remap + Cup kit = sorted

Would be much more hassle free to do what Mouse suggested. Cheaper also

or just get it remapped so you have the speed then keep the standard bumpers as they look better anyway

It's still not a CUP though, bit like remapping a lesser Golf to GTi power yeah it's got the same power but it's still not a GTi.
Maybe just my way of thinking.

I'm very biased towards the looks of the cup - wouldnt have done what i have to my car otherwise! To my understanding the cup is fundamentally a gti with a bodykit, remap, wheels, suspension and brakes? The engine is internally the same? Please correct me if i'm wrong cause i'd like to know the differences

you love being the odd one out dont you
anyway, does the cup run different suspension to the gti, i was not aware, also does anyone know the engine code of a polo cup, as if its bjx it will be the same, if not, there will be some slight differences (the max output being one)

The cup gets the BBU 180bhp engine from the Ibiza, which, from my part searches is exactly the same as the 150bhp BJX internally and externally, except the Ibiza BBU got the front mount intercooler.
So the only difference seems to be ECU software - engine wise.
There also seems to be no difference between GTI and Cup suspension
The only cup parts (denoted JNV by their part numbers) are the Front and Rear Bumpers, Roof Spoiler and the Wheels, and rear 'cup' Decal
The side skirts are VW 'individual' items, and the same ones as fitted to the Blue motion.

oh right, cool, very useful info there andy,
thought the cup had 312's standard though
so the cup has a front mount then, cool, was considering an apr front mount, but may be cheaper to source and fit the genuine vag items, providing of course they will fit behind the standard bumper
i would consider the cup front bumper to clear it but to my knowledge, there is no cup bumper with washer jets?????

The Cup doesnt have a front mount intercooler, VW didnt fit it to the Polo, to do so they would need to have to make a different front panel, as the Polo one clashes with the intercooler and you need to cut it out. You also need to trim the bumper where the drivers side securing bolt goes under the grille.
I have an Ibiza Front mount intercooler and brackets sitting in the garage, but i wont be fitting it for a while due to a house purchase.
Genuine Seat Parts will run you at near £700 for the lot though, i picked up the intercooler and brackets very cheap luckily.
The Cup does not have washer jets, and they were not an option.
Let me correct myself, ELSA says the Cup did infact get 312mm brakes, denoted by an option code 1LJ on the sticker.

£700 for the Seat front mount!! I got a monster deal then, paid £400 for the intercooler, brackets, pipes and fixings. Planning on fitting it as soon as I can get some time off work.
