tapping/ clicking from behind cd only when starting

Hey guys first post! fab forum!
Got a 98 polo, only when starting i can hear a clicking noise as if its coming from the cd player - it ticks along with the turning of the starter motor/ battery when starting and it stops as soon as the engine gets going.
any clues? its only done 50k but the service light is on.
