Xenon HID conversion kits are a good choice in the 6000k variety. Theres a good bit of information in the group buy section bout them. Get them from HIDS4U.co.uk with a discount code provided by myself

Alternatively, www.powerbulbs.co.uk sell powerblue and powerplus xenon filled bulbs which are a step up on the standard bulbs and make a nice difference.

As for sidelights, LEDs are the ones to go for. Its a W5W or 501 fitment and www.ultraleds.co.uk have superb ranges of these

Headlight bulbs are a H7 for dipped beam and H1 for high beam ;)

Hope this helps :)

I've tried out both powerblue and powerplus, and they're good bulbs, very bright and a good beam pattern.

They're not that white/blue though in comparison to HIDs. But if your looking for good bulbs, get powerblue/plus or Osram nightbreakers.

I've also checked out alot of cheap eBay ones. They're cheap painted bulbs so the beam pattern is pretty scattered and they're not that bright. They do give off a very nice colour though, and are great for matching HIDs. So if you prefer looks over performance get them.

Yeh those bulbs will fit.

Alex doesn't give you discount, he contacted HIDs4U and asked if it were possible for an exclusive discount price to uk-polos members and they agreed to it! He has the discount code which you need to use when purchasing from the site

Would the HID's pass an MOT?

i've heard that the HID's are required to have self-levelling and a washer system...
