They banned the Polo advert!!

Was reading the paper yesterday and I was outraged to find that they have banned the brilliant Polo advert with the dog singing "I'm a man".
I'm gutted, that advert was great! Apparently people complained that the dogs were abused...

That advert was quality, I'm sure I've seen it the last couple of days though.
I can never understand why people complain about stuff they see on the telly - like Top Gear, they get complaints for something or other every week! - If I don't like something on the telly, guess what I do, switch off

my bro works at framestore & he showed me the other night how it was made, he said apparently the dog was amazingly well trained & on command would begin shaking & looking sheepish...stupid f**king activists in the country with their hippie crack smoking tree hugging ways..

Some people have nothing better to do than moan about adverts. Do they really think a mahoooosive company such as VW would commission an advert in which animals were harmed?

That dog isn't wearing a seatbelt when it's clearly in a car! I'M GOING TO COMPLAIN TO THE ASA!
Although I'm not a fan of the ad (it is quite annoying), it pisses me off that there are actually people who repeatedly complain about these sort of things. If you don't like it, turn it off, as Gra said. Fools.
Maybe they took it off air as it was misleading. I mean, how does a Polo inspire confidence?

they complained at the dog shaking? yet they failed to realise that dogs cant really sing, surely if you're gonna complain you'll complain about something thats missleading such as a singing dog....

has it actually been banned, can't find any news on it other than web sites saying 'VW wont take it off air'
