Refurbing my steels

Just wondering what the best way would be to re pain my steels. I've sanded them down and I think I'm gonna paint them black. I was basically wondering what paint I'll need, how many coats etc.

I'm interested in this myself, the steels on mine are horrible. It's a bit of a faff having to remove the tyre for a proper job unfortuantly

For a DIY job, a good solid prime, car paint and laquer would be you fine.
