Hi, just got hold of a Mk3 Polo Saloon and i'm not sure which springs will do the job for a 40mm drop?? Could I just use GT or G40 springs??

well GT's just use standard spring, and g40's are -25mm I think so the cheapest place is probably
http://www.eurocarparts.com of -40mm springs and they'll be aabout £60 from memory including postage

Hi, welcome to the forum.
Any Mk 3 Polo lowering springs can be used.
The Gt ones are standard ride height and G40 are a touch lower (about 15/20 mm ) like Dom said.
Euro car parts do a budget set which are ok, but for a few quid more you can get slightly better ones. For example venom do quite a few options along with many other companies. Depends what you are after really.

i haven't put my springs on yet, mine are G max springs which should be a 35mm drop! most companies do springs for cars! might be worth going for up rated dampers as well as springs are only ment to lower it n not ment to get rid of the spungy ride!

Euro Car Parts do 40mm Ventura springs which are decent budget springs.
at the moment i've got them with standard mk3 polo bilsteins on my G40. but I'll be fitting some G-max shocks this week if they ever turn up!
