Hey guys,

I have imported the brake lines all the way to NZ, and they cannot be fitted to the rears as they are too short!! They have tried to move the lines as much as possible, but they are just too short.

Did you guys have any problems? Apparently front ones go on without a hiccup.

Did goodridge make a mistake?

I'll email VAG, but I know their replies are VERY slow...

don't know what to do and somewhat pissed off!!

How should they be positioned whitegtipolo? I mean if the lines are too short, and if we hoist up the car in the future with axle down, won't it damage the system pulling them down...??

Any help others?

Fitted mine last week and no probs. The rear ones are fitted just before the rear axle beam, not on to the calipers like the front ones.

Got a cal from dealer...

'Hey,

Yeah, thats how we tried to fit them to the car! they are about 3 cm longer than the factory lines and will rub badly on the rear axle beam if anything it will cause the hoses to kink.'

anyone with same problems??
