Hi Guys,

I previously posted a thread about my flashing dash. I found the following via googling, its frightening and I thought merited a thread of its own.

Huge thread of grief from 2004 to now.

Reading this now is like a house of horrors - lights flashing on and off, mysterious happenings. Not very funny - seems once your polo suffers this even the VW Dealers haven't a clue how to fix it.

Alll the problems with the cars seem to be with polos 2000 onwards. So guess most of us here are generally ok

I know ive never had a real problem with mine that wasnt my own fault so i testify to how solid the 6N really is ...

and how crappy later models seem to be

Well (as mentioned earlier) the problems are on 2000 or newer cars, and not many people will leave a comment of 'today my car ran perfectly'.
