She has returned to me!!! (aka finally fixed the polo)

damage wasnt nearly as bad as first expected. No bent chasis leg, which was my main concern. Just a bent suspension leg and buggered hub. replaced those, new headlight, new indicator, new seconed hand wing! All done. Jobs a good un and shes fixed.

All in all its cost me about 400 quid but it was worth every fooking penny.

Oh and i have to get the windscreen replaced tommorow. but after that its nearly completed.

Haqd a bit of a wheel swap aswell. Got my BBS rims from the mk2 Golf on the polo and they look P H phat on the polo. Its sick.

Picks tommorow when its less late and im more awake!!!

yeh she will be there. The car looks like crap right now mind lol. a few months ago i decided to try and play around with some fibreglass on the drivers side wing, thinking i had a spare.... i was wrong lol.

Never mind though ay life goes on. Its still as dented up as it always has been but it drives so nice and sounds so good that i care not!

Just glad to have it back under my control again. Hopefully ill post some pics up later tonight when i get home to my mac!

After! (poor pic soz lol):

Swapped my BBS rims from the golf onto the polo. initially because the BBS were out of tread at the front and i felt it was dangerous to keep them on such a heavy car. No traction means no go means skidding. Not good.

So after the switch i decided to keep them on the polo as i think they suit it quite nicely ifd i do say so myself. Plus the lack of weight seems to mean they grip better, though theyre on the backs now. I get a bit of scrubbing on the rear arches if i have people in the back which s a b***h but hey life goes on. Need to sort out the suspension next. Ill get a pic up of the bumper im making thats still WIP when i can!

lol ah yeh, the days of standardness...

It all needs a referb of course. Its got lots of dents, cracks in the roof. Wheels are just plain battered but hey there you go lol.

OOh and on the ntoe of lower profile tyres! That would be lovely if they werent so bloody expensive. Student budget you know lol

Beee out and about today after finally having the windscreen fixed by budget windows. Really cheap when compared to autoglass, or even the bloody scrappy! Stees W breakers wanted 80 quid for the screen and a guy on call wanted 50 to fit it. Budget done the whole lot for 110 so im chuffed at saving a few pennies!

Heres some pics from tonight. On the camera phone so there not perfect but i dont think theyre too shabby. was fairly ell lit at lakeside car park. soo.... huzzah!:
