Nothing major....I just wondered how much you guys would reckon a set of 4 16" BBS RX wheels (that will need refurbishing) should be worth?
I want to refurbish them anyways, because I have a colour in mind I would like
I know they can cost about £600 brand new, but just wanted to see what you guys thought a set of kerbed rx's would fetch?
Cheers, Chris

i picked up my pretty poor condition RXiis from ebay for £112, but depending on kerb damage, corrosion, and general wear and tear, then i think £150-£200 probably mate.
Tyres included?

Damn you got a bargain Dan!
Yeah tyres are included, and from what i've been told they're pretty brand new! There's only 1 rim that's badly kerbed, another one is slightly kerbed, and the other 2 aren't in that bad of a condition by the looks of it.
Hmmm

Cheers for that mate.
It's bloody hard to come across a set with an ET of 35 which is what I want!

Just a quick question, are we talking about 4-stud or 5-stud ones?
5-stud ones tend to be cheaper anyway, given that they were a lot more common due to be fitted on Mk4 Golf GTi, whereas the 4-studs were only on a specific golf cabrio model.

With good tyres I would say they are worth £250-300.

if you mean the one piece versions, they will go for 150-200 quid (4 stud), be careful though because i bought a set...then found out that they were off a vauxhall calibra, wrong et so the brakes were resting on the wheels...and they were about 9" wide lol
if you mean the RXII's, as said the 5 studs are very common and go cheap, whereas the 4 studs can go for silly amounts, a set i had my eye on with all the usual corrosion went for a whopping £560! on ebay a few days back...meanwhile a set with black centers went for only 270 (i bid to 265..

)

there are also two different types of 5 stud RXii. A 6.5J version fitted as an option (i think) to mk4 golfs and boras, and the 7J versions (which i have) which were fitted to the 20th anniversary golf mk3 gti.
the 7j versions are rarer than the 6.5j versions but from what people say, they are not as rare as the 4 stud, polo fitment versions!
