will a 6n2 boot fit straight on a 6n

I'm pretty sure that it will do but it will require lots of work to fill the gaps and make it look like a smooth fit.

Yep,it bolts straight on. However you'll need to extrude the bits under the rear tail lights to get it sitting flush. If you look at mk4mike's thread, he's done it.

yeah tailgate fits on real nice mate all the lock lines up spot on but if you want it to look like it has always been on the car e.g standard looking then welding and filler work to build out the body under rear lights will need to be done.
it looks really odd if nothing has been done to the body.
take a look at mine if you aint already mate.
