Just for those of you who dont know, I didnt convert in the end - I bought a top spec GTI , sold that to my brother, then bought another red GTI! Read on for the details!
Hi all
Thought Id let you in on my latest little plan (well its quite big i guess!)
Following Toms 1.8T conversion into his GTI, I am converting mine into the GTi using all the parts from his old one.
Its gonna have a few minor changes to the way it runs, such as no air con which means theres less strain on the aux drivebelt and a few other things thats GTIs dont have such as factory fit leccy windows and thatm but its all going to be installed.
Im after a GTI steering wheel, and a rear axle with disc brakes, plus front and rear strut braces, aswell as GTI projection Xenons, so if anyone has these, do let me know
So the conversion is due to start end of july/early august in time for ED38. Due to it being a conversion, insurance is impossible till im 19 but its all part of the fun
Keep your eyes peeled guys ... this one is gonna be special!
Cheers
Alex
