Just a thought, seeing as the tinternet is stuffed full of wrong info as well as right info, is it not better to leave the Fabia stuff to Briskoda and the Ibiza stuff to SeatCupra - then we all know where the one stop all resources for the individual cars can be found. The UK-POLO forum was slow to start with - especially with the 9N variants - and that is okay as it reflects the "nature" of the different brand's owners. I personally could not have sorted out any of my early "typical" Polo 9N problems without the input of the Briskoda members - and was truely gutted when the SeatCupra forum collapsed temporarily when I needed info. Surely we all know that the Fabia > Polo > Ibiza and to a lesser extent A2 are all related so can use the other forums to check or talk about things in a structured way. All I'm suggesting is "horses for courses" not world domination by one forum group!

Hmmmmmm but what about somebody who is a member on here who maybe doesn't know about Briskoda.net or SeatCupra.net etc..... These little sections can be an invaluable starting block for someone who is maybe only thinking about getting a Skoda or Seat.
I used the this section while i still had my polo GTi and then through this section found out about Briskoda and joined there. It'll be 2 years this coming Monday since i picked up the furby and another week or two till it's two years since i sold the GTi and i'm still here and also a sponsor.
Cheers

Would need to have the xenons though!
I was just about to ask what you were going for.....vRS or vRS SE..... But then realised you're like i was and wanted the xenons.
The only plus points on the SE's for me are the colour, privacy glass & leather..... I'm happy with my ESP, cruise & xenons rather than those three though.
Just a pity we couldn't find a tidy example with ESP when the mrs bought hers.... Had to be happy with just xenons & cruise.

You'll have a new member now !
She's 17, and called Gillian.
I'll get her to sign up tomorrow, the guys on here were very nice to her old dad when I posted we were looking into Polo's
I drove her new car back from Bristol tonight (we live in Worcester), its the 1.4, 8 valve, Comfort model, (timing chain), and on a first drive.......I'm very impressed.
She's on a provisional at the moment (she's only just turned 17)
