Pro-outs on factory headunit

Got my pioneer in at the moment and looks a big tatty, possibly thinking of putting my brothers double din golf headunit in or mayb just my factory back in again, how do i go about getting preouts onto it?is there a converter or something?as i need 2 sets of rca's into it for sub and 6x9s, ive heard it can be done, cheers

There is a way round this peter, i done an install on a friends mk v golf before with the standard head unit. If you go to halfrauds you can but a lead which gives you a pre - out. You would need two of trhese for two rca's. If you go to your nearest astore ask them for the lead which connects the the speaker wire from the back of your factory head unit and gives you a rca output. It's really easy to intall and should take you about 10 mins. Ask them for a packet of blade clips as well as they come in handy when doing it. It costs about 7 buck altoghter. instructions come with the lead so its all good! :)

Cheers mate, il have 2 try that soon, maybe saturday before i can get to it
