ASH TRAY PROBLEMS??

I DONT KNOW WHAT I DID BUT MY ASH TRAY LID IS BENT AND CLOSES AT AN ANGLE. ITS REALLY ANNOYING. ANY IDEAS ON HOW TO FIX IT PLEASE?????

Bingo! I took out the centre console today. The whole ash tray unit, sits on a set of ridges, my ash tray also sat at an angle and didnt close properly. I found out it was because it wasnt sitting correctly on its ridges, and this was obvious as the plastic was rough where it had been sitting..
Bit of a mission to take off the whole centre console (requiring drivers side trim too) just to realign the ashtray, but worth it if ur a perfectionist

there are two screws underneath the tray and cupholder unit. Unscrew them and then you might be able to see what the problem is.
