Right, i'm sick of the polo (harsh words, love her really) Cleaned out the TB, due to it not wanting to set up. Got the new TB set up and the polo runns alot better but still cuts out. Told it will most prob be the lambda, cahnged that today, polo ran fine until it got warm wich was a mile drive! It gets warm really quick. any further advances? Temp sensor? Surely the scanner would have picked that up?

dunno, maybe a full service? New spark plugs and HT Leads? might help unless uve already done that

Since having the TB set up yesterday and then fitting a new lambda today and giving it a good run tonight its not running to bad, alot better than it was. i disconnected the temp sender at one point, the car never cut out or rev up or down. pluged it back in and it was fine. Only trys to cut out on the odd occation now like when im slowing down to traffic lights but at speed.

Yep the temp senders the culprit then, if not then the idle control valve. I'm just lazy but need to change mine too cos i'ev had the problem for over a year. The lamba sensor isn't an issue with this problem though. You'ev change it anyhow so should get better fuel consumption or run more efficiently.

Changed my temp sender today, still running crap. Hmm i have to say its running a hell or alot better then it use too.
