so after work today the weather was glorious, a perfect chance for some more post detailing photos, better ones, to show off true shine and reflection

so i got the car out of the garage, as its been in there for a few days as i have been doing a few more little engine bits and cleaning it in general

Forge FMIC and big rear brake conversions are next on the list to be sorted this summer, which im sure they will be, then stage 2 map, to run a healthy 240 - 250 bhp, nothing too silly, may even just stick to the stage 1 map and run 225 - 230 bhp, either way then ill be leaving it i think (famous last words)

so here she is, hope you all like,

yeah awesome are the ones to use as far as im concerned, and the stage 2 map by apr will be developed once the front mount is released by forge and is a more common mod

it will happen, so dont worry

kenny, i used AG engine and machine cleaner 50/50 diluted to do the initial clean up when i got it, then autosol on the aluminium parts, AG vinal and rubber care on the blacks, applied everywhere with a fine paint brush, and zymol on the painted parts, started with the cleaner wax, then now i use carbon

looking good kenny, do that a few times and it will get to a point where its dead easy to do,

just a quick blip over with a damp cloth then treat the different areas seperatly

Cheers guys. The engine bay is still quite dirty, like ya say a few more washes and it should be looking better. Got around to gettin ma rear mudflaps lastweek so hopefully get them this week. No more tar marks up the side of my car plus it makes the car look a little more lowered :)

yeah mate thats right, they look quite cool i think

heres what you need to do kenny, as they gti arch liners and rear valance are not made for the flaps

remove the wheel of the side your fitting the flap too

firstly push the flap in to place and secure by knocking over the black u style clip with a rubber mallet

you then need to get an awl or bradawl and make a small hole in the arch liners where the holes in the flaps are so you can fit the inner arch securing screws

you now need to repeat the hole making on the rear valance underneath the flap and secure it with the screw
fit the wheel and repeat for the other side and then your done

making all the holes sounds bad but you cans see them, i have removed mine to check and its not visible so dont worry
