My new UK pressed plates arrived last week, I've been itching to get them on since having to put on those horrible VW plates I bought two years ago. I now prefer the plate on the bumper much better now, although ideally no plate would be the best. Anyway some pics...

And I had a little bit of an accident, pretty pissed off to say the least:

Boulder + lowered car don't mix. Totally didn't see it when parking up to get a photo then all I heard was an almighty grinding noise...ahh well, back to the bodyshop!

Mouse the back bumper needs to get done so badly, it just stands out so much!

Apart from that those plates look awesome.

Yeah the rear bumper is irritating me, the car looks so unfinished. If it weren't for that stupid van last year (and maybe todays accident too) I would of had it done ages ago

Same style plates I'm riding currently 8)

Looks great Mouse, the plate re-position suits the theme of the car alot more. I'm tempted to put mine back up there, but really don't want to be sticking anything on the smoothness!

You'd get used to it. I actually liked it a lot better

The plates look much better, just got to keep away from the police now or your likely to get a £30 fine.

Its a small price to pay for style though. lol

It's just the way the car looks in different lighting, it's definately the same colour up close :D

Thanks for the comments guys. Exterior wise I've still to get the badges sorted, maybe loose the GTI badge at the back. Rear bumper and side strips still to be smoothed. RX's will become winters as I'm looking to import a set of BBS RG-F's which will become my summer wheels. Stubby mirror too of course
