dash lights not working? any ideas plzzz help

any ideas to why dash lights aint working? example is when im driving at night i cant see how fast im going because theres no light..but i can see the indicators lights flash when i indicate though?
so can anyone help me as to whats up with my dash lights? its really bugging me when i drive and i cant see >.<

Probably just a blown bulb. Very easy to change, 4 screws i think?
Is it just the clocks that aren't illuminated? How about the heater controls?

its just the speedo lights really...ye i will check the bulb? is it just the 1 or is it a few?...i thought it was a few of them so i thought it would be highly unlikely that it was all the bulbs blown...
the heater controls doesnt work either but thats been like that for a while..

checked the fuse? dimmer setting?

yeppp checked the fuse and dimmer...the fuse is all good...but dont know about the dimmer because the lights aint on...

Probably - night illumination would be greatly reduced. Falls under headlights.

ahhh )"%^*%($£^*.....mot is soon aswel...gona have to sort it out asap but dont know how...any guyz with ideas please share
