what do u guys reckon? woud it fit?
remember, its a 1993 1.0litre with a four speed box at present! obviously i would need to get a gear linkage untit as well!

It will fit but you'll need one shorter driveshaft on the the gearbox side.
You're lucky with pre 88 polo's with standard 4speed gearbox you'll need to change the stabi as well.

Gearbox mount, I think he means. The 5 speed have a different gearbox mounting.

Sorry I mean the stabilzer,the big rod that connects the left and right side of the front suspension

I don't agree
the mouting is the same but the housing is a bit larger, that's why you'll need a shorter driveshaft on the gearbox side.
