Well i'm back...had a great few days. Weather was pretty good although veeery windy at times.
Didn't get to surf as the wind was just too strong and heading towards rocks so red flag was out.
Filled my time shopping, sunbathing and drinking instead though hee hee
I'm afraid I didn't get to many photos....i've been there a few times before and didn't get in the snappy mood.
As for places to go, i'd recommend:
(I can only vouch for places i've been to - there are heaps of others)
Night out: Sailors nightclub or Walkabout bar
Good pub: Central
Good food: Fort Inn or The Red Lion
Guest House: Rockport Cottage or Treheveras
Posh hotel: Atlantic (but i've not stayed there)
Best beach: Fistral or drive to Watergate Bay
Here's a couple pics of Fistral Bay anyway....and one more will go in this months photography comp....!

Newquay is awesome! I went there last Spring, it was a bit dead, but it was still nice there
I want to go back this year, but I don't think I can afford it
My pictures from last year (scroll down a smidge);

Yeah, accomodation isn't bad at around £30 a night, food prices are reasonable too but it cost me around £80 for petrol there and back with the current prices the way they are. Took me just under 5 hours each way. Zzzzzz
Shopping is all too tempting there too unfortunately!!

i've booked a hotel costing £280 for 4 nights, which is cheap, and it;s august time so fully booked everywhere.
it's clost to an 6/7 hour drive for me, but shoulkd be worth it, i've never been. hopefuly the weather will be nice too
aa route planner for me:
Distance: 362.7 miles
Time: 6 hr 47 min
so after a stop or 2
road trip woooop
