Pressed plates and black badge. Haven't done that much to her yet, been rather busy plus a shortage of cash.

Yep you will get pulled with them mate. They are illegal. Standard Uk-Font acrylic plates are the only legals ones allowed. (Basically standard plates)
Oh Looks very nice btw the mate and cant help agreeing with JordiPolo a badgeless grill and maybe a GTI splitter? Would look good

Totally depends on your area mate. Some police have problems with them, some don't. At the end of the day though they're all illegal.
I haven't had any problems with mine yet, touch wood

Haha nice one well i live in Colchester, Essex. I've seen a fair few VAG cars round here on German plates, even the ones with the D band on them so hopefully i shouldnt have to much of a problem. If i get caught i guess ill just have to keep them for shows

Cheers all for the positive comments. As above yes their ilegal, but meh, they've clamped down on it loads in mansfield, i've had them on 2 weeks ish and not had a problem yet, eveywhere i drive there are police. Tho MFN and Maxxed Cruises are on tonight so i expect some police around.
She still needs work doing on here, i'm after a set of Smoked front lights, with the front indecaters built in, 6n2 rear lights, i still need to paint the rear badge, tho i may removed it and smooth over, Aerial may be going too, plated and smoothed. The rear springs are adjust able so it needs putting on the last notch. And right said either a 6n2 GTI, leguna, or cupra splitter to be added. I may stick with the 8v bumpers, but the valve bumpers attract me somewhat so if i find both for a good price they'll go on too.

^^ ATS Cups.
For indicator units you may find a clear set at the scrapy if your lucky. Your best bet would be to search the forums and look on the bay.
Cars looking good too mate

As NOZ said, for indicators, forums would be the best bet and for smoked headlights, they don't often pop up as often. You would have to open the lens up smoke the insides and then re-seal them using the oven technique, they pop up incredible rarely!

As Noz said you can get Clear ones, mine cost about £20 of eBay as for smoked ones erm you could lightly tint them your self if you got the spray from Halfords but I wouldnt advise i thin kits quiet a skilled job to do that
Perhaps you'll get lucky on ebay and get some there
