hello everyone!

I noticed yesterday that when i change gear(while moving only) and release the clutch pedal, there is a noise like a vibrating loose bolts. And it disappear when the clutch is fully released and fully pressed. i noticed that when the gear engages, and everytime i stepped on the gas pedal, the sound appears and disapper afterwards.

any advice about this is deeply appreciated.

by the way, the car is an 02 polo tdi 4 door

sounds like the clutch release bearing is causing the noise

mine has been making this noise since ive had it and i spoke to a pal who works in Vw n its supposidly a common fault but then again u could change the clutch and the clutch release bearing and it could do the noise anyway!

Thanks for the advice........

I'll advice my mechanic about that.

BTW, how much it cost to replace a clutch release bearing and a new clutch? Any idea?

Thank you again
