wheel advice again!

being a bit of a twedge i simply cant make my mind up on wheels, oem+ - aftermarket etc so heres my latest thing that probably wont happen 
seen a set of d90's for sale up the road, 16 x 9 (i think, 225 tyres anyway!), just wheather i'd need arches done or anything being probably 20mm adaptors aswell, havent lowered or any thing yet either,
also he wants 300, so maybe 250, is that good price? also what sort of things do i have to look out for when i look at em? (corrosion, that sort of thing)
