Right, just a question -
would anyone here buy my old 8v bumper if i smoothed the numberplate section?
Bumper would also get sprayed to your vehicle colour.

Put a price up & see if people respond positively to it.

You should smooth it off and keep it mate. Don't think i've ever actually seen one like that cos everyone opts for a 16v one of lust leaves the 8v one standard.

I've seen a few smoothed 8v bumpers, but i love the smoothed 16v bumpers ha.

Personally I think smoothed 16v bumpers would be better to sell, seeing as there is a demand for them and moreso for a smoothed option.

I'm smoothing both so i'll see which i like better. Tho i think i will keep the 16v because i dig them alot. Also don't know anyone in mansfield with a smoothed 16v bumper. I'll keep the 8v one, and will be for sale if anyone wants it. if not then i'll lay around my shed, ha.

Whats to smooth on the 8v? Just the number plate recess? I think it would be interesting to see what a 8v bumper would look like with the lower and top section joined then smoothed in between. Kind of like a 1 piece 8v bumper if you catch my drift.

Keep the smoothed 8v for sure!!
How come your getting both smoothed? Purely for mulitple choice?

Well i've kept eveything ive swaped or removed so far. Erm i guess i think a smooth one will have a better selling point then a standard one. plus if i feel like a change, ha.

But surely it'll cost your more to get it smoothed, than just selling it in the first place?

Not that much more, I can get bodywork done cheap. It's just an idea.

Cool, well personally as someone previously posted I'd go with smoothing the plate recess on the 8v, and smoothing a merge of the two seperate bumpers.

Try it while it's cheap, worse comes to the worst and it looks crap... whack the valver bumper on
Be original
