I have a 3dr 9N polo and I just wondering if anybody knows how to remove the door panels so i can access the speakers? I understand that there are several screws and clips that need to be undone but if anyone has or could compile a step by step guide I would be very grateful.
I would ideally want to remove both the front door panels and the back panels as mine has speakers in the front and back.
Thanks for helping.

If it is electric. 4 t20 screws along bottom two t30 screws behind grab handle [use something soft so not to damage when removing] Then there are 7 clips holding in on. Two electric connectors and one cable to the pull handel. Then just lift it up and off.
Hope that helps

Yes they are electric. How do I remove the drivers side because its different to the passengers. It has the window buttons and a different style handle.
Also removing the back panels. Is that a major job of removing the back seats?
Thanks for your help.

Just the same as the passenger side door, just pop the grab handel apart then you have two t30 screws behind it. as for the rear panels its just on 5 clips, fold the seats down so you can get in better

If you break any of the clips on the rear panels they are about £2.50 for ten from the dealer part No. 6Q0 868 243. If you need anything else just pm me

Yeah one of them broke a bit on the passengers door. But pushed it back in and it seems to hold ok.
I was a bit annoyed to find that the speakers are 5.25s and not 6.5s but o well, they sound ok so i might just leave them standard.
Cheers for your help.
