seats :what should i do?

Hello Guys
MY seats are in a horrible state ,they look just foul i think its the actually factory pattern that i cant stand.Is there any decent places about that sells tailored seat covers which will cling tight to the original seats?or is it time to start saving for a new interior?
Im more in favour of the second one but i know itll cost a fortune.would anyone give me an estimate as to how much front and back seats will cost to be re-trimmed please?I know there are variables in this fabric type etc,but i would just a basic estimate

Go down the scrappy & find some Recaro's out of a mk3 Golf or Ibiza. Apparently fronts fit straight in.
Thats what i'll do when I get round to it!

Your going to love me, i got in contact with a guy off ebay, he had some ibiza half leathers on, front and rear seats, £100. I'm suppose to collect them at the week end. Fancy them instead?

Thats an offer you cant refuse if you ask me....
if you dont go for that then get yourself down a scrap yard, i picked up my front and rear 16v interior for £80. Your probs be able to get a set cheaper than that if you look hard.

A decent retrim would be £800+
keep an eye out for interior on edition38 and eBay.
Dont get seat covers!

well ive been looking at upgrading my interior aswell, and came across two options, i found a full 16v interior and a full 6n2 gti interior.... i like the gti interior a little better and i think the back seats should fit in, right? think the guy wants £80 for it.... anyone kno if the doorcards fit? and its £100 for the 16v interior...

Ive been told to fit gti doorcards you have to swap the dash over.

Thats true guys, the rear door cards will fit, but the front ones wont
