Hi All

Ive managed to get my hands on 8 B&M short shifters - the last to ever be made!!!

Basically it makes the throw of the gearbox much shorter, so allows for quicker, smoother gear changes with less movement in the stick.

Details are here: http://www.kamracing.co.uk/index.php?ma ... cts_id=463

It fits the following cars:

Audi A3 96-99
New Beetle 98-99
Seat Ibiza Inc Cupra 93-98
Jetta/Bora/Golf 93-99
Passat 93-97
Polo GTI and Lupo GTI 99-02

Part Number 45106

Its a quick and fairly simple modification, and you can easily do it yourself.

They will be going for £100 inc vat AND delivery if I can get 5 or more people for the group buy. This is a saving of £35 over the normal price.

So please, add your name to the list here :

If you are interested :)

This was a success last time, so lets try do it again :D

I'm interested, but I have doubts weither I could fit this myself- how easy is it to fit? (The instructions on the B&M site don't load)

Also can you keep the original knob & gator, etc?

its easy - follow the thread there. Just a few bolts and that to remove. Yes you can. You just need a new clamp on the gearstick to make it hold in place. PTFE tape is said to help a little.

Yes - its connected to the shift cables, so it can be moved from box to box. Its fitted inside the car anyhow!

Ill have to ask the question. I think it only fits the cars listed above as the GTI has different cables.
