dam dealership!

righty, basically, dans car had to go into the garage for its MOT! not too much of a problem, car is fine, except for a speaking on idle, but i reckon it is the water pump which has already been changed once! n e way, back to the story, the garage has recnetly been taken over (this is a local VW dealership by the way), which u would think would be a good thing! but its not, we reckon since then they have gone a bit downhill!
since the take over they have
-deleted my dads discount (as a frequent buyer of parts)
-got rid of his account all together even though he has met all the things they have asked for (e.g. spent over xx amount of pounds in a year)
what really didn't go down well was, when dans car went in for its service, it came back out with 2 dents on the wings, oil spilled on the engine and very poor workmanship! what was even worse was they said that the dents were already there before they started! which they then showed us the form to prove it (pre inspection) however they didn't see the dent in the bumper which was there when we got the car!
we were fuming and we got them to re-do the service and get the dents taken out! which they did!
n e way, back to the MOT, the car passed the mot but on an extra sheet, it said that the exhaust was hanging too low to the ground and they kept nocking it on things!
firstly, they fitted the exhuast back in the summer n its as far up as it will go without cutting the bumper!
secondly, what on earth were they doing for it to be clumping on things? maybe coming out of the car park but wot were they doing that for, there was no need! they dont need to take it for a test drive!
now dan is also saying that the steering wheel is no longer straight! we'll be keeping an eye on that!
so they will be getting an interesting phone call from us in the next couple of days! we'll keep ya posted
