budget id say fusion all the way, get urself into halfrauds or ebay. they do a 4 corner pack, with 4 channel amp, 6x9s and fronts. sell the 6x9s and get a sub in a box

I'd look for 2nd hand stuff if I was on a budget, get on talkaudio.

Unless you want an amp for the speakers how about consider an active sub. Amp and sub in one. Brand new Fli 1000w is around £150. Could get cheaper or second hand.

Seems very good for the price. You'll never get the best if your on a budget but that looks like a good deal to me.

you didn't say if you'd consider 2nd hand

you can get a Genesis P1 Sub amp and decent 10" or 12" sub for less than £200 without any problems.

TBH Mate, you say your on a budget, and you will get s**t with that, Save up your money and get some decent kit, the most Important part of any Install is the Cable, You need edcent cable to get decent sounds mate!

Yep. You cant have pukka components with poor cables. Make sure evrything is at least gold for good conductivity.

ahhh i get you good cable better sound.
im on the budget but im just looking for something to see me through for a few months untill i can have the time of saving money for somthing a bit better quality.

its one of those you get the quality you pay for kinda deals really isnt it?
if i were to buy subs similar to them would it be vital to upgrade the speakers?

components? or 6 by 9s?
i've heard bad things about 6 by 9s does anyone have any more info into this?

david would you by any chance have any links for any second hand subs like you mentioned?

thanks guys!

As i've asid before, Where do you spend the time in your car while driving? The Front or Back? Yes the Front!!

No need for 6x9's there alot of s**t IMO but other people will say diferent, But most Rep compaines that del in it, and if they are any good would advise on a good set up, and that wouldnt invlove them!

You have companents up front (a Speaker & a Tweeter)

If your getting a sub etc, and are going to wire the speakers up to the amp then yes, uprgade the Fronts!

lol, i thought u said budget:) that wil be alot of bass if u go for the twins, so will want to spend a fair amount on the components and make sure they are amped up, basically if u have comps and subs u dont need 6x9s. if u werent havin subs then 6x9s can give some good bass. but never together with subs they will be wasted

There is no point in buying something jsut to 'tie you over until you can afford something better'.

Either buy a budget system or go full out. Male that decision first before deciding what you are going to buy.

If you want to stick to a budget, check out some Alpine and Pioneer deals on caraudiocentre.co.uk or caraudiodirect.com

If you want to go all out, do some research on talkaudio.com and start searching for your ideal setup, or great second hand deals.

Regardless of the above, you want to be looking at a decent headunit, components up front, sub and amp for rear, witht he option of amped font components
