My mate can't find his sidelight fuse

Hello,
Just thought I'd post this before I get home and see if I can find the answer in my Haynes manual.
My mate's got a P plate 1.4 and basically the fuse layout is different to what's printed on the glove compartment under the steering column. He reckons there are 22 fuses laid out on the diagram, but about 30 fuses in the fuse holder.
He wants to replace the sidelight one so he could obviously look through em all and find the bust one, but the puzzle still remains!
