I noticed that on a golf the door pins retract flush with the top of the door card when the car's locked,

wouldnt this be a good security feature, and does anyone know if golf ones screw straight on

I vaguely remember someone saying the thread was different. But then, they only cost a few pence so you could order one and try. If it doesn't fit/work, it's only pennies you've lost.

MK4 Golf Door Pins won't fit on a GTi... I've tried.

oh well, thanks for the help chaps... saved me a 20 mile round trip to the dealer
