right peeps,

after scrimping and scraping (an ingheriting a substantial sum of money) i've finally got the resources to do what i want to my car.

All the works been done by the guy that did Dave Gills silver 6n (on BBS splitties) so its gonna be top notch.

this is what its gonne look like :



heavy inspiration from Speedlaws photos of Emiel Koostra's (sp) car and after seeing PVWs project Rallye in the flesh this is definatly the way i want to go (Nimbus grey paint, TT comps, Dietrich kit and crystal lights).

The only problem is what to do to the rear? do i get Lexus, clear LED or some mk5 ones? at the mo i'm swinging towards smoked lexus ones, can anyone talk me out of this

i would say on a grey car, go for smoked LED's

What does Atlas grey look like btw?

Love that Atlas grey colour, it's so suited to German cars !.

I'd say smoked LED's or just mk5 red lights but I'm not a fan of LEXUS style, sorry

I'm swaying towards the mk5 ones now. more keeping with the 'TT' theme

Nimbus it is then - that's what's on 'Project Rallye' and Emiel Kooistra's Mk3 Golf.

PVW probably get it wrong at times, most mags do. It's not my favorite mag tbh anyway - there are too many German ones here to justify the steep price they ask for PVW. So I never buy it.

out of interest what rear lights does emiel use? i've just realised i've never seen a photo of the back of the car

Paid about 100€ for mine @ VW. (That's about 60quid)

Go for LED or mk5. i feel IMo lexus would not suit the look your going for
