worried about lowering

im seriously toying with buying the famous coilover lowering springs but i am worried about my tyres rubbing the inner arch
put my steering on full lock today and saw that there was only about a 2-3mm gap between the tyre and arch
im going to get some low pro tyres when i can afford it and some spacers so this should help
anybody else had this problem or got their polo lowered and thier tyres are rubbing the arches?

My tyres rub at high speeds and big bumps and im down to the floor.
I have my old SE alloys on now which are 6 inch wide and dont scrub at all. How wide are your wheels?
If you put spacers on you wont be able to go as low
Im down to the floor and i dont have any issues!

Yeh you can slam it on 15X6.5s,
What's the ET of the alloys? Or if you don't know, what alloys are they?
And what size tyres do you have? You want to be looking at 195/45/15s

The good thing is if you get coilovers and you're having alot of trouble, you can just adjust them to what you're happy with

I slammed my car with coilovers not long ago on 15" by 6.5 on 195.50 only really had rubbing wen i hit corners abit fast

... u should be fine but if u want 2 be totally safe get the 195.45. and now i got mine on 16" by 7J's on 195.45 and there is no rubbing at all a little wen there got a full car...

Wont your speedo by slightly out if you running 45s on 16" wheel ?
Thought the best profile to get was 40
But yea just slam it
