De badge problems

Hi

I have taken the polo badge of the back of my canyon red 6n2. There is a slight fade mark. I have gone over it many times with t cut but it doesnt help. The mark is only visible from above (standing height) from below it looks fine.

Can anyone recomend anything. Nobody seems to have talked about this problem before.

Thanks

Chris :)

I did mine and it left no marks what so ever. I would have said T cut and some wax & polish.

Has pulling them off removed the paint or is it where the sun hasn't been exposed to it.

The mark is actually lighter than the paint around it. You would expect the oposite.
I dont really know what to do, any more goes with the t cut and I will end up with a much larger faded patch.

Thanks

Yeah you dont want to over do it with the T-cut. Possibly the badge took a layer away. All I can think if is a respray? Anybody else......

Had the same problem red paint work fades really bad..what you need to do is cut the surrounding paint to match the un faded area where the badge was, i suggest G3 "use caution you can always cut a little more off, you can't replace it" also not a great fan of T-cut it's too harsh..

Thanks guys

^Sounds a little difficult. You could go too far. If I cut the surrounding paint then that will look out?

I am still working on it - Thanks

Try maybe scratch X, or any abrasive polish.

If your near my way (worcestershire) Tim you can come and do mine if you want

Try something like scratchx by megs, this might work slightly more effectivly than T-cut.
