Hi Everyone,

I need to replace the Fuel filter on my M reg VW Polo (1.3) and for the life of me, I can't find it. I don;t have a haynes manual but apparently it's somewhere behind the right rear arch.

Can anyone give me a clue or perhaps a picture ( that would be even better) as I am new to cars.

The reason for the fuel filter change, there's fuel in the car but there's no fuel coming down the line as I ran the car pretty much close to dry the other day and it looks like some cr*p got sucked up from the tank. I will clean the tank I think as well.

Incidentally, she's down 178,000 miles and is still running cool apart from the fuel filter.

ok go to the back of your polo, if you are looking at it so your exhast is on the left side (near side), look under on the RIGHT side (offside) of the car, right next to the rear wheel, what where you will find the fuel pump and filter mate :)
