Trip to More-BHP

Hi Guys,
Firstly I want to thank Jason @ More-BHP for posting the free remap offer yesterday, I feel very lucky being the first to reply to get the remap for my GTi today…. Top man Jason, thanks very much!!

From new I was pretty happy with the little GTi’s performance. But has time has gone on, have been more and more tempted with a remap…. wanted to go a bit quicker, quicker! (And clearly Jason’s offer was un-missable).
Having not experienced the product I was unsure how much of a difference the ‘x’ amount of bhp/torque would improve/make a difference to the cars drive and be useable.

Ok the outcome:
After going out for a drive to get readings from the car, J worked his magic and uploaded the software. Then to take for another spin….

I honestly can’t believe the difference the software has made to the car. It feels bag’s more responsive – power feels available much more instantly, Acceleration has increased – it feels SO quick and pulls and pulls like a train.
…. I’ve had so much fun driving home!!

I’ve completely caught the bug for remapping.
Although mine was free, the software is worth every penny asked.

If you haven’t got software on your car yet, do the sensible thing – Spend a little of your cash at More BHP and have some fun! …. Highly recommended

Jason – I can’t thank you enough mate, enjoy the beers.

beers being enjoyed .... loooool ... stella beter than money

glad you like it ... hehehe

This is the problem..... one remap or chip... and hooked forever... ;-)

It started for me back in 1991'ish - had my Fiat Uno Turbo ie chipped and that was some of the best money I have ever ever spent.... grin factor maxed out ....

i reallly want a remap now,,, been thinkin about it for a while even though the GTi is already nippy.... ive never experienced a remaped GTi

BUT i dont know whiach way to go, ive got APR stuck in my head as it offers the "hidden" map, which apparently VAG cant detect but its well pricey!!!! what benefits from more BHP remaps are there?????

Do it!!

To be honest I've looked down the APR route before. Their product is clearly good based on people's experiences however isn't cheap, but don't be lead to believe that their work is hidden.
Let's be honest, like any remap if VW wanted to look hard enough i'm sure they could see it. But really they don't need to know and i doubt they would be arsed to investagate.

I'm very happy with my More-BHP remap!

dkny2789, where are u based?

All remaps are ultimately detectable.... no matter what anyone tells you...

It takes 30secs down the road with diagnostic software plugged in.... which VW can easily do with their VAS diagnostics (touchscreen laptop)..

the ecu can be removed and examined... etc

Like GTi_dan says .... why should they bother....

dkny2789 _ you cant beat the feeling of a remapped motor... miles of smiles...

dont know where you are but if you can make the effort and drive to me then I do you remap for crazy £150... yes I am still drinking the Stellas GTi-dan left me.... looooooool ( and KC .. it took a few attempts to remove the stella caused spelling mistakes)
