fitting an autogauge rev counter

hi
i'm fitting an autogauge rev counter in my mk4 6n
now i know that:
Black: Earth: connects to brown wire.
Yellow: Battery live: connects to red wire
Red: Ignition Live: connects to black wire
however i know green is for the negative coil or tacho wire but i don't know which wire it is in the polo
anyone know which wire the tacho is please?
