had my car in today and its failed  .i'm well gutted coz i was supposed
to be picking up and fitting a charcoal 6N2 interior to it tonight.now i'm going to have to use the cash for that on fixing the beast for the M.O.T
it failed on the rear number plate light not working and a split CV boot on the drivers side.getting it sorted on monday though for £48.sounds like a pretty good price to me,what do you reckon?

Less than 50 quid for another years motoring is not bad at all! Look on the bright side, could've been more!

Do the repairs yourself, CV boots you can pick up for under £12 and you get a pair. Number pate light may be the bulb, few £ easly done. if you lived close enough id do it, lol.

haha cheers.i'l be changing the bulb myself.it needs a couple of other bits
sorted out but the guy just put them down as an advisory

1.offside front wheel bearing has slight play
2.nearside front lower suspension arm corroded but not seriously weakened
3.offside rear lower suspension arm corroded but not seriously weekened
4.handbrake travel
5.o/s/f hub bearing slightly noisey
6.oil leak

 oh well,as long as it gets passed when i've had the cv boot replaced
i'll have a full years M.O.T to get the rest sorted out

Ahh You'll be fine. my Dub wont pass an MOT.
1) No rear fog due to having mark 5 rear lights. (keps my old ones for the mot lol)
2) emissions, the dub aint running right and overfuels a fair bit.

Other then them too id pass. lol.

For suspenssion you need a min a 20mm travel .. so im not sure how much travel i have lol. I think i have enough.

but yeah DIY repairs are awesome for saving money.
