Polo 6n2 GTi Grill - 6n

Will this fit on my Mk4 (1998) 6n Polo?

In short, No! If you look at the 6n2 its got a little half moon cut out of the centre of the front edge of the bonnet to accomodate the larger VW badge.
If you're after a GTI style mesh grille you'll find a few on ebay, although none come with any badges.

That'll give you an idea, got mine 2nd hand off ebay for 16 quid inc postage. Bought an R-line badge for it, see my Sig below for how it looks.

hmmm, ive looked on ebay and thats always been the problem, i think i want the VW on the front.
In the picture it doesnt look like it comes above that much, when ive got some extra cash and ive got a few bits cleaned up i mgiht get it and try to see if i can fit it, can always flog it off on ebay
and chuck back in the original.
ALso i might get one of ebay (debadged) and get my 'Polo' badge on the front of it.
Think ive seen a picture of it before, somewhere.

Look at this pic of a
6n2 GTI & you can clearly see the notch out of the bonnet, above the badge.
