my polo, random gufff, and help

heres my polo

its a 98 5 door pretty standard atm but over the next week or so im going to take of the bump strips, possible get black cup mirrors debadge the back except for the vw in the middle, get a black vw for the front, get my mutant sound system installed asweel

help: i need a new cat convertor how much and where can i get one of thesse a baffle has went in ine and it doesnt sound to nice lol.

oh also i was tryingh to install my sub and amp and coulndt find anywere to feed my wire through to my battery anyone did this and know where i could feed it throw?

Welcome to the site Iain,

Looks like you're going to be busy with the de-badging etc! :lol:

For the cat, either see if a scrappy has got one (can't guarantee it'll be any better than yours!) or ask for a price at your local motor factors, or here's a place on ebay, this is for a 1.4 so if yours is different then have a look at the others they do. Catalyst

For your sub feed, i found a grommet that feeds from the engine bay & comes out behind the glovebox (i took mine out to aid install). Wires already feed thru' the grmmet, so was easy job. :)

As siad grommet for the cable. As for the cat im not sure.

thanks guys cheers for the link 60 pound for a brand new one doesnt sound to bad like mite get my self a back box while im at it lol,

by the way has anyone tinted their own windows before?

Tried it, not recommended. Unless u've got the patience of a saint! Did my rear window as a temporary thing, looks ok, just looks DIY at the edge! Gonna get done soon, cheaper in the long run. Got someone I work with,his mate is a pro-tinter, £100 cash for whole car! 8)
