Assuming you're referring to the recess on the boot... that's a job for a bodyshop. A metal plate will be welded into the recess. It's too big an area to fill, whatever filling method you use it would soon crack / sink.

Personally I would get a plate welded in, then smooth over it. As it is too big to fill any other way really.

Bog standard filler will do it. But you will still need it sprayed, & you won't want to do a home job on it. It'll look awful if you didn't 'feather' it in etc.

I would recommend plate welding the boot badge, filler is only really suitable for small jobs (such as those little slits underneath the rear lights) and smoothing out a welded recess.

x2

You're going to have to pay for a proper respray once you fill the badge up, so I'd say you should just hold off and get the whole thing smoothed and painted by a pro in one go. Also think you should metal plate over the badge recess too. Basically get it done properly, so you only have to do it once :D

Yep. 'do it once, do it right'. Bite the bullet & get the whole thing done in one hit. :D
