will this suspension fit...

hi...
i have a chance on getting some lowering springs (inc shocks) for good money but can't find anywhere that will tell me if they will fit.
i have a 99/s polo estate 6n(i think) and the suspension is off a seat toledo m reg 94/95.
i have searched to find which chassis each car is on but i just go round in circles, the polo is on a caddy chassis which i think is based on mk2 golf and toledo is gode know what... anyone know the answer or where i can find out... cheers
