I got my polo about a year ago when i was still 16, this is how it started;
Image
Since then i've chanded the front indicators for some clear ones (only until i get some new lamps), put mirror black rear lights, de-badged the back on and put some Golf MK3 14" alloy wheels on.

Ive bought a Deitrich rear bumper (£70 off ebay!) amd a 16v front bumper (£20 from scrappy) which need to be sprayed and fitted.
Image
I also have a 12" Kenwood sub and enclosure, a 960W Renegade amp and some 240W fusion 6x9's to go in. Should be getting my new headunit too soon.

So here's how it looks now;

Next up im gonna remove the bump strips, bedgeless grille, fill the rear badge recess and fit the sound system. I also want Black Angel eyes, extended bonnet, new wheels, bumpers fitted, twin oval exhaust, and my brother is giving me his lowering springs (he's getting coilovers).I also have M3 mirrors to go on, but not sure about them, what do you think?

M£ mirrors i'm not sure about, and the exhaust i thought was ok. It wont be huge, but it needs to be able to fill (not literally) the big cut out in the rear bumper.

There is nothing to think about with M3 mirrors, bin them, dont even sell them on to some chav, kill the M3 mirror race now! :lol:

Single oval would look good but not double.

By twin oval do you mean twin exit, R32 style? Personally a twin-single pipe system may suit that bumper.

Agree with Josh on the M3 mirrors tho'! :lol:

Not R32 style, like a double pipe on a golf gti

Hm not a huge fan of exhaust systems on Polos. Unless your turning and its stripped out. But each to their own.

Progress on my 16v front bumper. I've smoothed the top grilles out (almost), just need to spray it and get the remaining grilles and towing eye cover.

I also bought a green Tax Disk holder, as the giant stick on one looked aweful and was bugging me!

^^ lol true!!!

Twin oval isn't that bad, depends how you get it done. Whatever you get, don't get a DTM style pipes cos they look really gash.

Looks like pistachio to me? I like the smoothing, most people plastic weld but i've never seen a lump of wood put in it :lol:

I think the sig looks like pistachio green, but the photo showing the tax disc looks like ummm... something else!

Good effort with the smoothing and chucking that piece of wood in makes your life a whole lot easier. Will the weight of the piece of wood not make it crack sooner though?
