hmm depemds what you want coilovers or springs and shocks. I'l say around 60mm. Tho 60mm rubbed on the front for me and i had a 45 profile tyre and you have 50. My rear tends to rub more now on coilovers. Buy some coilovers, Ta Technix off Club Polo £215 deliverd. And set up to a comfortable ride height. If you ever change your wheels and tyres then you can raise and lower your hight. Gives a wider option.

Have a look at Venom Motorsport for a good idea of whats available, & prices. Best place for variety, price & ease of navigation!

If you go for a 35-40mm drop then easiest is to put lowered springs on, your shocks will just about take that. Although you aparently won't see too much difference!

Look at the 50 or 60mm spring & shock kits, should give a nice stance, 50mil will stop a little rubbing, especially as you're on 50 profile tyres.

Go for coilovers if you are torn for ride height, at least you can 'fiddle' & get one you're happy with! Look at the HotTuning Coilovers on Ebay, as for around £160 (if you go for a Best Offer!) you get a really good set that some say are better value for money than anything under 300 quid!

Hope that helps! :D

Ano fancy coilovers myself. Whats the ride like with the ta technix? Think coilies is my best option. would rather save and get coilies than pay for springs that i might not like.

Cheers lads!!
