Right, i have an idea to make my door handels a little smoother. Use rear lockless door handels on both o/s and n/s doors and have centeral locking fitted.
You may say all is well untill your battery in your keyfob or car goes flat then you can't gain acsess to the car.
I plan on keeping the boot lock so i'll do some entery from the rear work.
Lol that sounds bad.
I plan on keeping the dorr handles black, colour codeing is good but the handels wear so .. Just an idea.
any better ideas or things you have done yourself, speak up!

Its what mk4 Golf owners do too, as its the door barrel/lock is the VW weakpoint!
As you've already realised, rear handles on front. Remote Locking & leave the rear standard, just in case an emergency entry is required if the battery on car or remote fail!
Just do it!

I've just got the one door key barrell on the drivers side and it does improve the look from the left but on the right its the same. I reckon if you're going to do what you've said, you're better off smoothing them off and fitting solenoids

Very true. It's just a simple mod. I dont have the dollar for smoothing and painting ect, bit short this month. Bills to pay ect.

I know what you mean, its not cheap! I really wouldn't bother with all blanked, maybe do the left one and colour code as that would look better. If you're going to delock it, everyone smooths the rear at the same time.
Just my 2p

Rob'll find smoothing the rear doors difficult on his 3-door!
